We all hate to see what happened to Tyrese Haliburton Sunday night in Game 7 of the NBA Championship Final.

Another lingering calf injury led to another Achilles' tendon tear, and now it's likely Haliburton will miss the entire 2025-26 season.

BetOnline.ag has had next year's championship odds up for a couple of weeks now, and the Pacers initially opened with 12/1 odds. This morning, they had the fifth-best odds at 10/1.

Those odds took a hit when Haliburton went down, going up all the way to 18/1 before settling at the current number of 16/1.

The Knicks' and Cavaliers' chances improved on the heels of Hali's injury heel (and the Pacers downgraded). Both teams had 9/1 earlier today, now they are listed at 8/1.

The Magic have also seen significant movement, even before tonight's game. Orlando had 25/1 odds earlier today, but after an influx of wagers/funds the odds have dropped to 12/1. Could Giannis be on his way to Disneyland?!?!

Regardless, the Thunder are massive favorites against the field. Their odds are more than three better than the next-best team (Houston). A collective, “yikes” for the rest of the Association.

Kevin Durant Trade Impact on the Odds

It’s crazy to think that Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, four first round picks and a pick swap for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall pick and five future second round picks.
